Steelhead Nymph...

Getting ready again to head back up to Erie for some steelhead fishing this week. Just wanted to share this pattern that has done very well for myself and others at the Erie Tribs. This nymph is a heavy point fly that I like to use with a size 16 BH Black Hare's Ear as a dropper. It is a rather easy pattern to tie since it similar to tying a Copper John. I just like to use Pink Ice Dubbing as a wing case and Blue Horizon Ice for the thorax.
